Fiorentina's Olivera receives three-match ban

02/22/2012 - Florence, Italy (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Fiorentina midfielder Ruben Olivera has been banned for three games by the Italian football league for violent conduct.

Olivera received a red card in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Bologna after he appeared to elbow Bologna's Alessandro Diamanti in the face early in the second half.

The 28-year-old will now miss league games with Lazio, Cesena and Parma as Fiorentina tries to climb into the top half of the league.
